Roderick Bennett MD, MBA, FACEP
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Bennett is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He possesses over 25 years of experience in the field of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Bennett completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard University then received his medical degree at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans where he served as chief resident. Dr. Bennett also holds an MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College, in Winter Park, Florida.
Dr. Bennett is currently the founder and President of a private Emergency Medicine practice and his goal is to help SOS provide high quality medical services and innovative solutions for promoting wellness.
Mark Royal
CEO, PIE Development
With nearly 40 years in the healthcare and real estate businesses, Mark Royal has developed passion for improving healthcare. Royal’s determination to find solutions for the broken healthcare system in the United States is unwavering, born of having personally experienced the failings and challenges of healthcare delivery through family and friends. With his partners, many of these solutions are being developed and implemented.
Royal’s career spans consulting, strategy, transaction and development services for clients of all sizes… from small businesses and physician practices, to large hospital systems, multinational corporations and international governments. His experience has been forged in multiple economic cycles, working nationally and internationally. He has co-founded several successful companies, and served in senior leadership positions at national and international firms, earning a variety of awards for excellence, during his career. Royal attended Northeastern University and Northwestern University, majoring in English and Economics.
Jason Gulledge
Chief Strategy Officer
Jason Gulledge graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science and earned an Executive MBA from Auburn University. Although he initially planned to pursue a career in Software Engineering, he soon realized that his extroverted nature was better suited to engaging with customers rather than spending long hours behind a computer.
Jason has been fortunate to advance through increasingly significant roles throughout his career, including Technical Marketing Engineer, Sales Engineer, Project Manager, Global Sales Process Trainer, Business Development Manager, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Chief Strategy Officer. His expertise spans various industries such as software, energy, oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper, and data centers, involving work from conceptual engineering to on-site construction.
Inspired by Joshua Kolanko and Dr. Bennett, Jason joined their team to bring his extensive experience to the table. As the sole non-healthcare professional on the leadership team, he ensures that the concerns and frustrations of the average consumer are addressed.
In his free time, Jason is an avid golfer and a dedicated supporter of youth sports in his community. He serves as the Soccer Commissioner for his local youth sports organization and enjoys volunteering as a coach for soccer, basketball, and baseball.
